Dooley’s House is a quaint, rustic little house with uninterrupted views over the Bell River to the mountains beyond. It is ideal for those wanting budget accommodation on a property that has both space and privacy. Red-brick walls, exposed wooden beams and sash windows are some of the original architectural features that give Dooley’s a typically Rhodes character. Dooley’s can comfortably accommodate up to four people in two bedrooms. Cold winter nights are catered for by an inside kitchen fireplace, mohair curtains and electric blankets, while a gas geyser and gas stove mean guests are assured of hot showers and hot meals even during loadshedding. Candles and paraffin lamps provide backup lighting. Dooley’s is equipped for basic self catering.
